Regence is committed to members, independent of Supreme Court ruling
Regence remains committed to serving its members while building a more economically sustainable health care system. Regardless of the Supreme Court decision, our members’ current coverage remains in effect. We intend to keep certain key patient protections created by the Affordable Care Act, such as allowing dependent children to remain on their parents’ policies until age 26, the new rescission standards and the third party appeals process. Any other decisions regarding benefits going forward will be made after the Supreme Court decision is announced, and will be made based on conversations with our customers and how best to serve them in the evolving health insurance marketplace.
