Jared Ishkanian

Jared Ishkanian is the Assistant Director of Market and Sales Communications, overseeing public relations strategy across Regence’s four-state footprint and serving as media spokesperson for Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon. He brings over a decade of media experience, and specializes in fostering media relationships and securing earned coverage, strategic planning, branding initiatives and executive positioning.

Ishkanian’s previous efforts include heading public relations for Oregon Environmental Council, and directing communications and launching social media platforms for Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort. He holds a B.A. in English and American History from Middlebury College, and an M.B.A. from Willamette University.

Originally hailing from Maine, Jared has been steadily making his way westward in search of fresh snow and outdoor adventures. You can find him enjoying Portland with his wife and two boys, running in Forest Park with his dog Booker, exploring the northwest on skis and foot, and taking in live music while sporting his Patriots or Red Sox hat.
