Last night the Cambia Grove hosted a Reverse Pitch Day with anchor partners, Regence, UW Medicine and MultiCare Health System.  This event traditionally draws a large crowd and provides a unique opportunity for startups to hear directly from the business decision makers about the challenges they’re facing and how they can apply to secure a paid pilot program to help solve these pressing issues.

We were fortunate to have GeekWire attend the event and today’s article highlighted the purpose of these events as well as our leadership team who pitched the following challenges:

  1. How to deliver an engaging consumer experience for members that provides them with the right information, products, and services
  2. How to digitally engage with our chronic, complex, and higher-cost consumers beyond the traditional health care channels in order to proactively manage risks, improve health care decision making, and offer assistance to the patients’ families

As the health care industry changes, we must be agile and actively seek out innovative solutions to deliver an exceptional consumer experience. Reverse Pitch Day is a forum for the business and startup community to collaborate and create real solutions impacting the health care industry.
