myRegence.com video recognized for excellence with EMMY Awards Nominations
PORTLAND, Ore. – Fishing With Cancer: A New Angle on Recovery, a video produced for Regence’s health and wellness website, myRegence.com, has been nominated for a Northwest Regional EMMY® Award. The video tells the story of a group of avid fly fishermen who watched the impact fishing had on a friend battling brain cancer. Seeing those benefits first-hand inspired the anglers to create a group called "Reel Recovery." The organization gives other men fighting cancer the opportunity to trade stories with those in similar straits, all while honing their fly-fishing skills. The original video was created and produced by Jamey Toombs, and co-produced by Brian Thomson of the myRegence.com award-winning video team
