“In last night’s State of the Union address, the President reaffirmed his commitment to passing meaningful health reform legislation this year. Regence supports ensuring long-term health care security and stability for all Americans, and we will continue to work to make systemic changes a reality, and that includes working on state level reforms with local government.
“Our company will continue to advocate for key reform elements that ensure all Americans have affordable coverage and access to quality care; eliminate pre-existing barriers to coverage; make medical care more efficient; and modify the system to be simpler and more transparent.
