myRegence.com wins Web Marketing Association WebAward and IM Symposium’s People’s Choice Award
PORTLAND, Ore. – Regence BlueCross BlueShield announced today its member website, myRegence.com, has won three industry awards. The first is a 2011 WebAward for Outstanding Website in the Insurance Category from the Web Marketing Association. The second is Information Management (IM) Symposium’s People’s Choice Information Innovation Award, and the third is an award for Best Website Overall Content from the Internet Marketing Association.
myRegence.com is a website designed to help Regence members become better informed about their health and wellness options and to more effectively navigate the health care system. It includes resources such as health and wellness articles, healthy recipes, patient reviews, treatment cost estimators, and an online discussion forum called My Blue Community.

Entries were judged on design, copy writing, innovation, content, interactivity, navigation, and use of technology. myRegence.com scored near perfect marks in both the content and interactivity categories.
IM Symposium’s People’s Choice Information Innovation Award
The IM Symposium People's Choice Information Innovation Award is designed to recognize Blue Cross and Blue Shield health plans that have made significant achievements in providing business value or innovation with a proven information-based solution. myRegence.com received the award for its treatment cost estimator, which provides members with price estimates for common medical treatments based on their benefits and the providers they choose.
