Regence responds to the U.S. Supreme Court ruling on the Affordable Care Act
PORTLAND, Ore. – Regence has been an active and vocal supporter of health care reform for many years. We will continue to implement the Affordable Care Act as required, and help our members navigate the evolving health insurance marketplace. While the law expands coverage to millions of Americans, it does not meaningfully address the unsustainable rise in health care costs. It also includes a premium tax that we oppose because it increases the cost of coverage for consumers and employers. We will continue to work with policymakers on both sides of the aisle to ensure affordability, security and choice.
