Intermountain Health updates ValueCare network
Intermountain Health (IH) remains an important part of the Regence Preferred ValueCare network. As part of a network reconfiguration, IH adjusted Intermountain Medical Group provider participation at select clinics in Davis, Weber, Salt Lake, and Utah counties.
Members in these areas are encouraged to check the directory to confirm their provider's participation status. Members whose doctors are no longer in the ValueCare network are encouraged to call us at the number on the back of their member ID card and we can help them find a new, in-network provider.
The vast majority of Intermountain Health Intermountain Medical Group providers continue to participate in the Regence Preferred ValueCare network. Intermountain InstaCare and KidsCare, and all Pediatric providers remain in the ValueCare Network.
Intermountain Health is in-network for the following Regence and out-of-state Blue Cross Blue Shield health plans:
- Federal Employee Health Benefit Program
- Preferred Blue Option (PBO) / Select PPO
- Traditional or “PAR” Network
- Medicare Advantage PPO
- ValueCare PPO / Preferred PPO remains in network except for the providers being removed in the four counties listed above.
Note: Intermountain Medical Group providers outside Davis, Weber, Salt Lake and Utah counties are still in-network for the ValueCare network.
Intermountain Health remains out-of-network for the following Regence and out-of-state Blue Cross Blue Shield health plans:
- Focal Point Network
- Individual Connect and Individual Value Networks
- High Performance Network
Members should sign in to regence.com or the app or call us at the number on the back of their member ID card to find alternate in-network providers.
In an emergency, members should always seek care at the closest hospital. Care for an emergency medical condition will be covered as in-network because of the federal No Surprises Act. However, a member’s out-of-pocket costs will vary depending on their health plan.
