Community, connection, and Idaho Gives Day
May 02, 2019
Sean Robbins on the importance of celebrating and supporting our local nonprofits.
What makes you proud to call Idaho home? Organizations like the YWCA, Second Harvest, and the Idaho Foodbank enrich our communities and give color to our state's landscape. We're proud to help lift these nonprofits up throughout the year, but especially today. On Idaho Gives Day, we encourage you to join us in pledging your support to one of many groups participating in this annual day of giving.
We’re a company that is deeply rooted in Idaho. I’m proud to say that our nonprofit values continue to guide us now, every bit as strongly as they did when we were founded here 73 years ago ... Thursday, May 2, is our chance to demonstrate “The Idaho Way” – reaching out and offering a helping hand to those in need.
–Regence BlueShield of Idaho president Sean Robbins speaks to the importance of giving back in a personal post, which you can read in full here.
