People often feel inundated with an endless stream of information about the latest disease outbreaks, fad diets, miracle supplements, among other health and wellness developments. To keep this avalanche of health news in perspective, Boise-based KBOI news radio counts on Dr. Kenny Bramwell, Regence BlueShield of Idaho’s executive medical director.

The station’s listeners get weekly radio “house calls” from Dr. Bramwell to keep them up to date on local and national health topics in the news. Whether it’s the status of the flu in Idaho, a major report on millennial health issues, or new recommendations on sunscreen use for Idahoans who spend hours outdoors working and playing, Dr. Bramwell’s weekly chat with KBOI’s morning drive-time team keeps audience members in the know.

The weekly “Medical Moments” air between 7:05 and 7:10 (Mountain Time) Tuesday mornings on 670 KBOI. The station also streams all its programming. Popular segments have focused on the risks of excessive energy drink consumption and the importance of staying hydrated.
