Important information about our contract status with PeaceHealth
Regence regularly negotiates with providers to ensure our members have access to high-quality, affordable health care. At this time, we are in negotiations with PeaceHealth, and we understand that they may be telling their patients – and reflecting on their website – that they will not be in our network for the entirety of 2025.
It is grossly premature to discuss termination of our contract this far ahead of its scheduled end date. Regence expects that PeaceHealth will provide services to our members on the same in-network terms through 2025.
We are disappointed that PeaceHealth is creating alarm in the community and among our members so early in the process; we are acutely aware that contract negotiations with providers have real impacts on people’s lives.
We are in active discussions and have many months ahead to continue our negotiations in good faith so we can reach an agreement that is in the best interest of our members and customers. We encourage PeaceHealth to communicate accurately with our members about the duration of time they can receive care as we continue our negotiations.
