The passage of legislation changing how Medicare pays doctors is a historic milestone that will further drive momentum around value-based care. Regence applauds Congress for working together to achieve this bold change that will significantly advance innovative care models designed to improve quality and lower costs for patients.

Regence and its provider partners are well down this path and will continue to work together to create a more person-focused, economically sustainable health care system.

“Our collaborative care partnerships ensure patients receive the right care at the right time in the right setting,” said Richard Popiel, M.D. M.B.A, executive vice president of Health Care Services and chief medical officer for Regence. “We are truly transforming the way health care is delivered.”
