Regence extends coverage of COVID-19 treatment at no cost to members through 2021
As more people get vaccinated against COVID-19 and cases decline, it’s easy to think the pandemic is easing. And certainly, things appear to be headed in the right direction in many places.
But not everyone has been vaccinated—either by choice or because they are not eligible—and people are still getting sick and need treatment.
Regence has extended coverage for COVID-19 treatment at no out-of-pocket costs to our members covered by an employer-sponsored health plan, an individual plan, Medicare and members of many self-insured plans through 2021.
The health of our members is a top priority, and we don’t want cost to be a barrier to care as challenges from the pandemic persist.
Finally, Regence encourages vaccination against COVID-19 for those of any age who are eligible. We understand you still might have questions about everything from why to get vaccinated to where you can get a shot. For more information, we encourage you to visit our COVID-19 information page on regence.com, or read more on our Regence news blog.
