Weeklong campaign to support local Idaho nonprofits starts April 29
More than 650 nonprofits have signed up to participate in this year’s event, a record for Idaho Gives and likely driven by increased requests for help from Idahoans affected by COVID-19.
“Idaho Gives is such an important platform for nonprofits and donors,” says Summer DuPree, Idaho Nonprofit Center’s Idaho Gives project manager. “Donors can easily search for causes and organizations they’re passionate about and nonprofits can take advantage of the collective voice of nonprofits to elevate their own causes and campaigns.”
This key fundraiser for high-performing, community-serving organizations helping Idahoans in all parts of our state kicks off April 29 and runs through May 6. This year’s campaign hopes to build on the successes of the 2020 campaign, which raised more than $4 million from approximately 18,000 donors.
As a returning underwriter of Idaho Gives, Regence BlueShield of Idaho is proud to stand alongside other local businesses to support the nonprofits that are the bedrock of communities across the state.
“We’re so honored to be able to continue our partnership with the Idaho Nonprofit Center in its staging of Idaho Gives again this year,” said Scott Jones, Regence BlueShield of Idaho’s interim market president. “It’s both energizing and heartwarming to see the people and businesses of Idaho step up to rally around the causes they care about and support the resiliency of our state’s remarkable nonprofits.”
Idaho Gives donations will be accepted online at IdahoGives.org from April 29 (12 a.m. Mountain time) to May 6 (11:59 p.m. Mountain time, 10:59 p.m. Pacific time). Find out more about the participating nonprofits online and follow along on social media using #IdahoGives.
