Regence supports major expansion at Idaho Botanical Garden
Regence BlueShield of Idaho is pleased to support the Idaho Botanical Garden and Arboretum as it breaks ground on a milestone expansion set to transform the Garden into a more vibrant space for all.
Improvements announced today include:
- New Borbonus Family Arboretum: Highlighting Idaho's natural beauty and biodiversity, and supporting the Garden’s designation as a certified arboretum
- Regence BlueShield of Idaho Event Lawn: A dedicated space for gatherings, wellness and celebration
- Expanded parking and improved infrastructure for better accessibility
The new event lawn will be a flexible outdoor gathering space for small concerts, performances, celebrations, classes and more. It is a key part of enhancing the Garden’s capacity to host year-round community programming.
Idaho Botanical Garden Executive Director Erin Anderson noted, “This expansion creates space for education, celebration and connection. We’re deeply grateful to our partners and the 115+ supporters who make this milestone possible—this is just the beginning!"
