SEATTLE – Regence BlueShield is pleased to welcome Omid Moradshahi as Senior Business Development Executive for the 100-plus market segment. In his new role, Moradshahi will drive new business opportunities in the large group segment, employers with 100 or more employees.

Moradshahi comes to Regence from Cigna, where he served as Senior Client Manager for employers with 500 or more employees in the Washington market. Before that, he was a Senior Manager at Premera Blue Cross and worked in several roles for more than a decade at Aetna, serving the Washington and California markets. His 16-year career includes experience both in sales and finance at local and national health insurers on the West Coast.

“Omid’s strong experience in business development and sales in multiple market segments will help Regence continue to innovate as we provide health care solutions in the fast-growing Washington market,” said Jae Suzuki, Director of Sales at Regence BlueShield. “We are happy that Omid is joining the Regence team.”

Moradshahi has spent most of his career serving the Washington insurance market. He holds a bachelor’s degree from California State University, Northridge.
