BOISE, Idaho – Regence BlueShield of Idaho is pleased to begin 2024 with the announcement of two strategic new hires. Jeanie Armstrong is the company’s new director of account management and Alex Forster now serves as director of market planning and effectiveness.
Jeanie Armstrong
Armstrong has more than 15 years of experience helping health care businesses like AllMed Healthcare Management and Magellan Health/MagellanRx and their clients succeed in highly competitive marketplaces. At Regence, Armstrong is responsible for developing and implementing sales and marketing strategic plans focused on customer retention, sales process design, coverage models, goal setting, performance management and sales incentive programs. She has an MBA from Grand Canyon University.

Alex Forster
Forster brings more than a decade’s experience to her newly created role at Regence. She works with the senior leadership team to ensure business objectives and operating plans are fully aligned across the enterprise. She is also responsible for working to ensure line of business strategies are meeting internal objectives and customer expectations. Before joining Regence, she worked in public and political affairs at Micron, with the Idaho Office of Drug Policy, and for more than four years as Assistant to the Chief of Staff in the office of U.S. Senator James Risch. She has a master’s in health/health care administration/management from George Mason University College of Public Health.

Both Armstrong and Forster are based in Boise.
