BOISE, Idaho – Today, Regence BlueShield of Idaho announced that Scott Jones has accepted the role of interim market president. Jones, who has served as Regence’s vice president of sales since 2015, succeeds Sean Robbins, who is assuming a new role as executive vice president of external affairs for the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association.

Additionally, the Regence BlueShield of Idaho Board of Directors today announced the election of Lynn Hoffmann, CEO of Intermountain 3D Inc., as Chair of the board. In commenting on Jones’ appointment as interim market president, Hoffmann noted, “As Regence embarks on our 75th year of serving Idaho and our communities, I’m confident that Scott is the right person to lead us forward in pursuit of our mission to provide better, simpler and more affordable health care across our great state.
