SEATTLE — Don Antonucci, president of Regence BlueShield in Washington announced today that Andrew Over has been appointed to Market Vice President. In this new role Over will be responsible for strategy development and execution to drive growth in Regence’s Washington market.

Over previously was Director of Community and Business Development for Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon. In that position, he consistently strengthened relations with employers, business and civic leaders, and managed strategic partnerships with nonprofit community groups.

Before joining Regence, Over spent more than a decade working in national politics in Oregon, Washington D.C., and in the state of Washington where he was a deputy campaign manager for a U.S. Senate campaign. He serves on the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital Foundation Board of Directors.

Over will assume his new role in January, and will be located in Regence BlueShield’s Seattle office.
