(SEATTLE) Regence BlueShield announced today that John Partin will join the company as Vice President of Network Management for the state of Washington. In this role, Partin will lead network and provider strategy, and the development of collaborative provider relationships. Partin will work closely with Don Antonucci, president of Regence BlueShield as a member of the Washington team.

Partin has more than 20 years of experience in the area of network management and contracting, both on the health plan and provider sides of the business. Most recently, he was director of strategic contracts for Premera Blue Cross. Partin also has held provider contracting and management positions with UnitedHealthcare, Blue Care Network of Michigan and The Cleveland Clinic.

“With John’s extensive provider network management experience, and his familiarity with the unique Washington market, he will be instrumental in building collaborative provider relationships to further our mission to improve the quality of care our members receive while also maintaining cost affordability,” Antonucci said.

Partin is a soccer player and youth soccer coach who lives in Woodinville, Washington. He is located in Regence BlueShield’s downtown Seattle office.
