Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon honored for member retention

PORTLAND, Ore. – Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon has been honored with a Brand Excellence Award for outstanding performance in member retention among all 33 independent Blue Cross and Blue Shield companies nationwide.
The Blue Cross Blue Shield Association honors top plans in member retention in three market tiers, depending on the competitiveness of the plan’s market. Regence BlueCross BlueShield of Oregon in 2025 had a member retention rate of 98.16%, the top mark in the most competitive market tier.

The award comes as part of the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association’s 31st annual Brand Excellence Awards program, which recognizes its licensee companies for exceptional performance in categories that strengthen the Blue Cross Blue Shield brand. These categories include enrollment growth and member retention.
