Important update on our contract with Providence Swedish and PacMed

The leaders of Providence Swedish and PacMed, the largest health care provider system in our
Washington network, have told us that they wish to end their commercial contract with us on
April 1, 2025, and our Medicare Advantage contract on April 15, 2025, if we can't agree on how
much we pay them for the care they provide to our members.

We're working hard to reach an agreement with Providence Swedish and PacMed that will keep
them in our network while keeping costs under control. We don't want our members to have to
worry about finding new doctors or hospitals, and we're committed to making sure that you can
get the care you need.

We have a lot of high-quality health care providers in our network, and we're confident that we
can find a solution that works for everyone. We'll keep working hard to make sure that our
members get quality care at a price that's fair.

What does this mean for you?
If we can't reach an agreement with Providence Swedish and PacMed, it might affect your
provider options. But we're doing everything we can to avoid that. We'll keep you updated on
any changes, and we're committed to making sure that you can get the care you need.
We're here to help, and we're committed to providing high-quality, cost-effective health care to
our members. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.
