Regence insurance coverage of COVID-19 vaccinations remains unchanged

You might be unsure if your Regence insurance still covers COVID-19 vaccines for people ages 6 months and older because of recent news coverage.

The answer is yes. Coverage for COVID-19 vaccinations remains unchanged through the end of 2025.

Regence follows the best available scientific evidence and recommendations from medical experts and associations to determine which services we cover. When you see an in-network provider, you’ll pay nothing for the preventive services listed here. To easily find providers in your network, sign in and find a doctor.

You can get vaccinated at a variety of places: health centers, doctors’ offices, and retail clinics in supermarkets and pharmacies. Make sure the provider is in your network so your vaccines are covered. Consider calling ahead to make sure they have the vaccine you want and find out whether you need a prescription.

You may have to pay up-front for the vaccination and you can submit a claim to your health plan for direct reimbursement:

  • Sign in to your account at regence.com and select Claims
  • In the menu on the right, select Submit a claim
  • Be sure to have a copy of your itemized receipt available to upload

Routine vaccinations for both children and adults are an important part of staying healthy. They protect you and your loved ones, as well as the most vulnerable people in our communities—those too young or sick to be vaccinated.
